KELLOGG MAN DIES SUDDENLY

Kellogg, Ia., Nov. 28, Special:

Andrew Anderson, resident of this vicinity for the past fifty years died of a paralytic stroke in a local barber shop Saturday morning about 9:00 o'clock. The barber had just finished shaving Mr. Anderson and as he stepped from the chair he sank to the floor. A local physician was called but he died in a few moments.

Funeral services were held from the home here Monday afternoon at 2:00 and burial was made in the family lot in Our Silent City.

Mr. Anderson was born in Thisted, Denmark, September 4, 1861. He came to this country when a young man and located at Kellogg where he was employed on the Rock Island railroad for many years. He was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Peterson at Newton September 23, 1887. Eight children were born of this union, 4 sons and 4 daughters, all but one of whom survive.

The family moved to a farm north of town some time ago where they lived until retiring from active work about 8 years ago when they moved here to make their home.

Surviving relatives include his wife, 4 daughters, Mrs. H.J. Morrison, Mrs. Arve Banghart, Mrs. P.H. Keenan and Mrs. Morris Altemeier who reside north of town, 3 sons, Carl of Athelstane, Wis., Fred of Laurel and Ralph who resides north of town.
