CLARA CHRYSLER

Clara Chrysler, 102, of Chico, Calif., formerly of Grinnell, died July 4 at her home.

A memorial service will be conducted July 20. The body has been cremated, with burial of the ashes in Chico Cemetery.

The daughter of Adolph and Magdalena Stoltenberg, she was born Dec. 4, 1887, in Davenport. She was trained as a concert pianist and later attended the University of Iowa. She was married to Louis G. Chrysler in *1910.

Mrs. Chrysler and her husband moved to Chico from Grinnell in 1950 following his retirement as vice president of Grinnell College. The family had lived here for some 20 years.

Surviving are two sons, James of Atlanta, Ga., and Louis of Chico; two daughers, Katherine Carson of Skancateles, N.Y., and Jeanette White of Chico; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
