LAST RITES SAID FOR NELLIE INMAN

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the James-Schalinske Funeral Home for Nellie J. Inman, 70, of 1027 West St., who died Monday evening at Grinnell General Hospital following hospitalization of the past few days.

The Rev. Ralph Beebe of the Mayflower Home officiated at the services. Organist was Mrs. Kathleen Heffner.

Pallbearers were Bill Peters, Loring Rohr, Ed Brand, Ellis Brown, Fred Taylor and Virgil Doud.

Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Grinnell Rebekah Lodge No. 119 conducted memorial services.

The daughter of Frederick and Mary Peters Furber, Mrs. Inman was born in Grinnell Aug. 23, 1901. She attended the public schools in the Grinnell area.

On Sept. 8, 1923, she was married to Harlan R. Inman at Montezuma. Mr. Inman preceded her in death on June 3, 1958.

Mrs. Inman was a member of the Methodist Church, the Grinnell Rebekah Lodge and the Pythian Sisters. She was also affiliated with several of the auxiliary groups and also belonged to a number of social clubs.

Survivors include three daughters--Mrs. Harold (Doris) Jones of Grinnell, Miss Wilma Inman of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Dorothy Ray of Islamorada, Fla., and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harlan; a sister, Mary Inman; and three brothers--Fred, Joseph and Raymond Furber.
