OBITUARY

JOSEPH B. FURBER

Joseph B. Furber was born in Grinnell, Nov. 2, 1887, and passed away quietly, July 2, 1918, at the home in Grinnell.

Always happy and pleasant in the home, he will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and understood him and his ways.

He lived with his Grandmother Furber from the age of 4 years until her death ten years ago, being a great help and comfort to her in her declining years, and he is especially mourned by his Uncle Frank, who knew him so well through all his childhood years.

He was an invalid all his life. His death came quietly and peacefully, without pain.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his father and mother and two sisters, Mary and Nellie.

Funeral services were held at the home, 1027 West street. Burial was in Hazelwood, beside his brother, who passed away two years ago and was waiting his coming to that beautiful mansion above where there are no more tears and suffering.
