FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN ARIZONA
Funeral services were held April 11, at Green Ridge Baptist church, Eldon, Mo., for Clyde William Lunceford of Glendale, Ariz., former resident of the Brooklyn area.
Mr. Lunceford died April 6 at Phoenix, Ariz., victim of a heart attack, two weeks before his 65th birthday.
Born April 19, 1903, near Eldon, Mo., he was the son of Samuel T. and Ella Milburn Lunceford. July 3, 1930, he was married to Vada Ware who survives, along with two sons, Daryl of Glendale, Ariz., and Donivan of Eldon, Mo. Also surviving are a brother, Aaron, of Eldon, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Payne of Webster Groves, Mo., and Mrs.Opal Currence of Eldon, Mo.
Before going to Arizona six years ago, the Luncefords farmed near Brooklyn and Deep River.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. April 11 at the Green Ridge Baptist church for Clyde William Lunceford of Glendale, Ariz. He was a former resident of this area.
Lunceford died April 6 at General hospital, Phoenix. His death occurred less than two weeks before his 65th birthday.
He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Green Ridge Baptist church.
He was born April 19, 1903 in the Barnett community, a son of Samuel T. and Ella Milburn Lunceford. On July 3, 1930, he was married at California, Mo., to Vada Ware, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Daryl of Glendale, Ariz., and Donivan of Eldon; two grandchildren and one brother, Aaron of Eldon, and two sisters, Mrs. Essie Payne, Webster Groves, and Mrs. Opal Currence of Eldon.
Before going to Arizona six years ago, the Luncefords lived in Deep River.
The Rev. Cellis Crum officiated at the services. Burial was in the Eldon cemetery under the direction of Phillips funeral home of Eldon.
