CRISMAN FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services for Mrs. Don (Sue) Chrisman were held Sunday afternoon, July 31, at the Steffy Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Lankford officiating. Miss Alice Underwood was the organist.

Burial was in Jackson Township Cemetery with Cecil Miller, Harold Bryan, Kenneth Fayer, Marcus Shearer, Harold Bushong and Harold Swanson serving as casket bearers.

Mrs. Crisman, 76, died in a Grinnell hospital on Wednesday, July 27.

The daughter of Perry and Margaret Johnson, she was born in Boscobel, Wisc., on April 10, 1890. She was married to William Schoffield in Boscobel and to this union one daughter was born.

On Dec. 26, 1925, she married Don Crisman in Story City, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Crisman have lived in Montezuma for 41 years and for many years Mrs. Crisman's mother lived with them.

Mrs. Crisman was a member of the Montezuma Presbyterian Church and the Women's Society. She was interested in many civic organizations. For the past several years she has been in ill health and has been cared for in her home.

She is survived by her husband; her daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor and George Hesse of Boscobel, Wisc.; and a sister, Mrs. Fannie Kuck of Marengo.
