Sister of G.P. Young Died in Amarillo, Texas, Dec. 23.

Funeral services for Mrs. W.H. Belles, sister of G.P. Young of this city, who died at the home of her daughter at Amarillo, Texas, on December 23, were held at the Primitive Baptist church at Liberty, Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock.

Elder R.L. Keeton, of Grinnell, conducted the services. Interment was made in the Rock Creek cemetery.

Balzora Young, daughter of Edward and Jane Young, was born February 24, 1855, in Wayne county, Kentucky. She moved with the entire family to Jasper county, Iowa, in April, 1865. On September 15, 1887, she was married to W.H. Belles.

There were born to this union five children: Clifford, Harvey, Achsa, Elsie, and Myra. The family moved to Texas in January, 1909, at which place the mother departed this life December 23, 1923, age 68 years, 9 months, and 29 days.

She united with the Primitive Baptist church at Liberty near Grinnell, Iowa, October, 1901, and lived a faithful and devoted member to the day of her death. She passed away in the triumph of a living faith, in hope of the resurrection of our vile bodies fashioned like unto the glorious image of her blessed Redeemer.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, five children, besides two brothers, M.E. Young, of Indianola, and G.P. Young, of Grinnell, two sisters, Armelda Powers, of Kellogg, and Rebecca Phipps, of Grinnell, besides a number of relatives and friends. Our loss is her eternal gain.

Let us all bow to the will of our heavenly Father and say, "Thy will be done not ours."
