EVELYN LAMB RITES TODAY

Mrs. Evelyn L. Lamb, 58, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died late Saturday evening at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs.

Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Brooklyn I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with President Steven R. Krogue of the Grinnell Church of the Latter Day Saints (Mormon) officiating. Friends may call the Smith Funeral Home for additional information.

The daughter of Herbert and Evalena Tinker Brannian, she was born March 13, 1922, at Brooklyn. She attended the Brooklyn schools and graduated from Brooklyn High School. She had lived in Colorado Springs since 1962 and had been employed as a medical secretary.

She was a member of the Democratic Club and the El Paso County Community Services Department. She had previously lived in Denver for eight years and in Kansas City, Mo.

Survivors include her stepmother, Mrs. Herbert (Esther) Brannian of the Mayflower Home; seven children, Leslie Davis of Los Angeles, Calif., John, Kolin and Jill Davis of Waterloo, Mrs. Michaelanne Johnson and Kevin Lamb, both of Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Sherri Barrett of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Willis H. Brannian of Council Bluffs; and a stepsister, Mrs. John (Gretchen) Paustian of Whippany, N.J. She was preceded in death by her mother and her father.
