VINCENT QUINN DIES IN KELLOGG

Kellogg, Ia., Sept. 8, Special:
Vincent Quinn, 78, resident of Jasper county since 1887, died at his home here Wednesday evening at 6:30. He had been in failing health for several years and an invalid since suffering a paralytic stroke April 11, 1931.
He was born in Scott county April 4, 1855, and was united in marriage to Miss Ella Arnburg at Davenport, February 12, 1880. The couple resided there seven years before locating on a farm south of Kellogg, where they lived until moving to town in 1920. Surviving relatives include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. G.E. Drake and Mrs. John Strovers, one granddaughter and six great grandchildren; also two brothers, James of Newton and John of Mason City.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock and burial was made in Our Silent City.
