MRS. ASENATH TISH OF SEARSBORO CALLED BY DEATH

Mrs. Asenath Elizabeth Tish, for many years a respected resident of Searsboro, passed away in a local hospital last Tuesday night. She had reached the advanced age of 80 years, 10 months and 8 days, and was the widow of Jasper Tish.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Friends church in Searsboro, conducted by Rev. E.M. Gregson. Burial was in the West Liberty cemetery east of Searsboro. Mrs. Tish is survived by one son, Jack Tish, also of Searsboro.

Searsboro, Ia., Jan. 13, Special:

The funeral of Mrs. Asenith Tish was held at the Friends church Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., Rev. EM Gregson conducting the services. "It Is Well With My Soul," "Abide With Me" and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul" were sung by Mrs. Kelly Davis, Mrs. Floyd Stanley, Mrs. C.W. Richards and Mrs. Jessie McDowell, with Mrs. Bowen at the piano. Mrs. Tish had been a long time resident of Searsboro, where she had the respect and good will of everyone and she will be sadly missed by her many neighbors and friends. Burial was made in the West Liberty cemetery beside her husband and daughters.
