DARLENE HAMOR

Darlene Hamor, 74, of rural Grinnell died of cancer Sunday, July 26, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with burial in Westfield Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral home beginning at noon Monday, and the family will be present at the funeral home from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday.

She is survived by her husband, Paul, of Grinnell; three sons, Larry of Tama, Robert of Omaha and Michael of Grinnell; one daughter, Linda Duncan of Rolston, Neb.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and five sisters, Elsie Mae Van Gorp of Grinnell, Rose Johnson of Searsboro, Molly Saunders of Grinnell, Grace Davis of Marshalltown and Irene Kester of Montezuma.

Memorials may be directed to the Newburg-Chester United Church of Christ.
