AGNES PAULSEN SERVICES HELD WEDNESDAY

Agnes E. Paulslen, 67, of 1200 Reed St., Grinnell, died of cancer Wednesday morning at Grinnell General Hosptial.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United Church of Christ-Congregational, with the Rev. Philip J. Ramstad officiating. Organist was Elbert Smith. Pallbearers were James Cunningham, Carroll Gerard, Michael Hotchkin, Irving R. Howell, Kenneth Isenberg, and Ronald J. Willemsen. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Crawford, J. Don Cunningham, G. Lester Duke, Dick Ullrich, Atwood Brock, and Milton Maupin.

Burial was at Hazelwood Cemetery.

A memorial in Mrs. Paulsen's name has been established, and contributions may be left at the Smith Funeral Home.

The daughter of Anton and Hansine Petersen Jensen, she was born Feb. 25, 1911, a Cedar Falls. She attended schools in Cedar Falls and was graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1928. She later attended Grandview College in Des Moines.

She came to Grinnell in 1930 and was an office receptionist for Dr. E.S. Korfmacher.

On April 5, 1942, she was married to Dwight W. Paulsen at Cedar Falls. The couple continued to live in Grinnell.

Mrs. Paulsen was an active member of the United Church of Christ-Congregational. She was a member of the Priscilla Club and Chaper BM of PEO. Since 1953 she had worked at Cunningham Drug.

Survivors include two children, Mrs. Jack (Patricia) Prouty of Sonoma, Calif., and John W. Paulsen of Omaha, Neb.; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. E.S. (Olga) Korfmacher of Grinnell, Mrs. L.S. (Dagny) Ehrenreich of Glencoe, Ill., and Mrs. M.R. (Hertha) Somers of Fairfax, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 30, 1955; her parents; two brothers, Robert and Erhardt Jensen; and a sister, Mrs. Valbor Cootey.
