K. S. Cochran Rites
Tuesday Afternoon

K. S. Cochran, 72, died Saturday at his home from a heart attack. He had been in poor health for the post several months. Funeral services were held at 1 o’clock Tuesday at Beulah church of which he was a member. The Rev. F. E. Adolphs, pastor of the Methodist church at Barnes City had charge of the services. The Rev. Forest Hebron of Lacey preached the funeral sermon. Burial was in the Barnes City cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clarence Hicks, Paul Montgomery, William Johnson, David Speas, Will Frazier, and Arthur Reeves. Mrs. Richard Ferguson, Mrs. George Johnson, D.C. Lester and Harold Hunting sang favorite selections.

Mr. Cochran was a prominent farmer in the Beulah community. He was a good neighbor and a loving husband and father. His son, Louis, of Eldora, had arrived in the afternoon to remain over Sunday. He is also survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Babb and Mrs. Ralph Sanders, and a sister, Mrs. E.M. Bryan, of Des Moines.
