RITES HERE FOR JULIA M. MARVIN, FORMER RESIDENT

Mrs. Julia M. Marvin, 80, of Sacramento, Calif., a former Grinnell resident, died Saturday at Sacramento.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Smith Funeral home here with the Rev. Ralph Beebe of the Mayflower Home officiating. Organ music will be provided by Mrs. Rhee Auman.

Serving as pallbearers will be Carl Child, Charles Hink, Darrell Stimson, William Bitcon, George Walker and Fred Johnson. Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery.

She was born August 4, 1884, at Spencer, Iowa, the daughter of James W. and Alice A. Robison. She received her education in the Spencer and Grinnell schools and later was united in marriage with Wilbur F. Marvin.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1940.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Arthur A. (Claudia) McDaniels of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Arthur Robison of Marshalltown; a sister, Mrs. Mary R. Keener of La Jolla, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Marvin was a longtime Grinnell resident and had made her home in California since leaving here several years ago.
