MRS. HENRY PRINCEHOUSE

Nancy Adaline Adams was born in Canada, April 31, 1845, and died at her home in Des Moines, Tuesday, September 11, 1917, at the age of 72.

She moved with her parents to Henry County, Ill., at an early date. She was united in marriage to Henry Princehouse in 1865, in Henry County, Ill. Mr. Princehouse passed away before her on February 11, 1917. To this union four children wre born: Mrs. Cora Webster, of Medical Lake, Wash.; Mrs. Ada Robb, of Des Moines; Myrta, who passed away nine years ago, and Perley L., at Newburg, Iowa. Mrs. Princehouse moved with her husband and family to Jasper county, Iowa, in March, 1877, where they settled on a farm near Newburg. From there they moved to Spokane, Wash., and after two years came back to Grinnell, going to Des Moines three years ago, where she has since made her home. She united with the Methodist church at an early age and has always lived a faithful Christian life. She was a devoted wife and a kind and loving mother.

Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the M.J. Hurdle home on south Broad street, Rev. J.M. Brown conducting the ceremony.

One sister, Mrs. Orin White, lives in Grinnell.
