--Last Thursday occurred the death at his home northeast of the city of Barnhart Webber, after a long illness. Mr. Webber was nearly 55 years of age, and leaves a wife, three sons and one daughter to mourn his loss. The funeral occurred Sunday, consisting of a brief service at the home followed by a service at the Lutheran Church, conducted by Pastor J.F. Reinsch. The burial was in the Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Webber came to Grinnell from Germany and purchased the farm on which he died of Hon. Joel Stewart. He has been a thrify farmer, honest, industrious and honorable. His brother Julius Webber, arrived from Oklahoma Saturday to attend the funeral. Mr. Webber has been a citizen here, about 20 years.
