ADA WALKER FUNERAL TODAY AT SEARSBORO

Ada Walker of Searsboro died Thursday evening at a Grinnell hospital where she had been a patient for a short time.

Funeral services were held today (Monday) at the Community Friends church in Searsboro with the Rev. Myrtle Lee officiating. Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Steen with Mrs. Harriet Macy accompanying.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Smith, Gene Meredith, Wiilliam McGinn, Rex James, Robert Arthur, and James McGinn. Interment was in Bethel cemetery.

Born on March 17th, 1908 at Barnes City, she was the daughter of Jess and Eva Marion Walker. For the past three years she has lived at Searsboro.

Survivors include her father of Searboro; two sisters, Irene Meredith of Searsboro and Phyllis Arthur of Grinnell; and one brother, Harley of Searsboro.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
