OBITUARY.

MRS. NARCISSA B. CRANE.

Mrs. Narissa B. Crane was born in Henry county, Ohio, April 24, 1848. She was married to Theodore F. Crane in her twenty-fifth year. There were three children, Gertrude, Fred, and Dr. Jessie Crane, all of whom survive, and were recognized by the mother in her last illness.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, having with her husband joined the denomination when it was first organized in Grinnell. Grinnell has been the home of this family for many years. During the past three years she has been living in Kirksville, Mo., and came back for a short visit with friends and neighbors. Stricken with cerebral hemorrhage, she died at the home of her husband's sisters, 920 East street.

Her favorite song, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul," was sung at the funeral, and she was laid to rest in Hazelwood cemetery.

She often spoke of resting, so now she is at rest until the resurrection morning.
