ROXIE O'HARA SERVICES HELD

Roxie F. O'Hara, 66, wife of Clyde N. O'Hara of 626 Prairie St., died unexpectedly Tuesday evening at Grinnell General Hospital of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Hugh A. Shiveley, pastor of the church, officiating. Organist was Kathleen Heffner. Pallbearers were Homer Allen, Wes Casady, Richard L. Clark, Paul Johnson, Chuck Stevens and Mike O'Hara. Honorary pallbearers were John O'Hara, Pat O'Hara, Thomas O'Hara, Ryan O'Hara, Jeff Stevens and Greg Stevens.

Burial was at Hazelwood Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials in Mrs. O'Hara's name may be made to the coronary care unit at Grinnell General Hospital.

The daughter of Guy and Mable Smith Hall, she was born near Malcom on Dec. 31, 1910. She attended the Malcom schools and was graduated from Malcom High School.

On June 1, 1929, she was married to Clyde Noel O'Hara in Grinnell. The couple had four children. Mr. and Mrs. O'Hara had made their home in Grinnell since their marriage.

Mrs. O'Hara was a member of the First Baptist Church and the women's societies of the church.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde; her four children, Mrs. Maurice (Colleen Rhae) Keenan of Grinnell, Richard E. O'Hara and Thomas G. O'Hara, both of Newton, and Mrs. James Patrick (Karen Lynn) Gaffey of Grinnell; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
