FUNRAL OF MRS. W.N. RALF IS HELD SUNDAY

Hannah Wishart was born February 28, 1858, at Waterside, Ayrshire, Scotland, and died at the rural home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Schultz, March 22, 1935, aged 77 years and 22 days.

She came with her parents to Iowa when she was 21 years of age, and has made this her home for the past 55 years. She was married on April 28, 1881 to W.N. Ralf and to this union were born five sons and one daughter. Two sons preceded her in death, Fred, aged six months and Bert, aged 21 years, as well as her father, who passed away Sept. 13, 1911.

Those remaining to mourn the loss of this loved one are Arthur Ralf, Des Moines, Iowa; Will Ralf, Des Moines, Iowa; Ben Ralf, Marshalltown, Iowa; Mrs. Frank Schultz, Malcom, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Baker, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Isaac Alexander, Grinnell, three brothers, George Wishart, Pasadena, California, John Wishart, Dixon, Ill., Will Wishart, Chicago Ill., seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ralf was seriously ill only a few days but during these days she suffered a great deal but bore the pain with Christian fortitude and patience always appreciative of those who were caring so lovingly for her and everything that human skill could do was done to relieve her suffering.

She was a woman of wonderful faith and prayer and even during her severest trials her faith never wavered. She was ever ready to give of her strength to those in trouble or sickness. She was truly a Christian neighbor, friend and mother.

She has made her home with her daughter for many years, always interested in the welfare of the home, and at all times appreciative of the kindness shown her by her loved ones.

It can truly be said, "To know her was to love her."

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at 2:30 Sunday, with burial at Hazelwood cemetery.
