W.C. Thompson

W.C. (Tommy) Thompson, retired owner of Thompson Marine Instrument Co., died of a heart attack in a hospital Wednesday at age 62.

Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday in the Killingsworth Little Chapel of the Chimes, with entombment in Riverview Abbey.

Mr. Thompson, who lived at 7606 N. Williams Ave., was born April 20, 1912, in Fonda, Iowa, and moved to Portland in 1942.

Surviving are his wife Nellie I.; one son, Gordon of Portland, two sisters, Fern Abott of Ames, Iowa, and Evalyn Disterhoft of Middleton, Wis.; and one grandson.
