TONY EUGENE FARRINGTON

Tony Eugene Farrington, age 16 of rural Montezuma died Sat., April 10 at Iowa Methodist in Des Moines. He was born Jan. 11, 1977 at Grinnell. He was the son of Pam Farrington and Kelly Brouwer, and lived with grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James (Norma Jean) Farrington and was a sophomore at Montezuma High School.

He was involved in various sports including basketball and golf and belonged to the Montezuma FFA Chapter. Tony was a member of the West Liberty Church of Christ.

He is survived by his parents and stepfather Kelly Brouwer of Austin, Texas and Pam and Mike Benelli of Algonquin, Ill.; two half brothers Michael and Daniel Benelli; his grandparents James and Norma Jean Farrington of Montezuma, Nadine Brouwer of Deep River and Gary Brouwer of Montezuma; aunts, uncles and several cousins, and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services are Wed., April 14 at 1:30 p.m. at Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma. Mr. Bill Ell will officiate and burial will be at West Liberty Cemetery west of Montezuma.

Casket bearers: Brandon Lowry, Preston Young, Travis Minner, Chad Dye, Brett Strong, and Chad Simonton. There has been a memorial established in his name.
