DIED

MRS. W.V. DAVIES

Mrs. W.V. Davies, formerly of Grinnell, but later of Montezuma, died at 8 o'clock on Thursday morning in the Methodist hospital at Des Moines, of cancer of the stomach. The body was brought to Grinnell last evening and the funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock on Sunday from the Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Elias Handy. Interment will be in Hazelwood.

Mrs. Davies was the wife of Deputy County Treasurer W.V. Davies and was a woman of sweet and lovely character. She is survived by her husband and two children.
