MABEL ANN WOLFE

FREMONT—Mabel Ann Wolfe, 87, of Fremont, died Thursday June 26, 1986, at Mahaska County Hospital.

She was born April 16, 1899, near Montezuma to William Preston and Belle Alderman Tish. She married O.J. (John) Wolfe Oct. 21, 1920 in Oskaloosa; he died April 19, 1968.

She had been a resident of Pleasant Park Manor since 1977, and was a member of Fremont Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son Robert of Eagle Grove, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one sister, Nellie Thompson of Beaverton, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.

Services will be held Monday, June 30, at 1:30 p.m. at the Fremont Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Land officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Township Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. The family will be at the funeral chapel Sunday from 3-8 p.m. to receive friends and relatives.
