GONE HOME

At four o'clock Saturday morning Oct. 10th, the angels came and bore the soul of Louis A., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Schultz, home to God.

The deceased was 23 years old. He suffered but two weeks from that dread disease typhoid fever.

The funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon in the German Lutheran church by Rev. Kight of Sonora, after which gentle hands laid him to rest in the German cemetery.

We shall think of him not as dead, but as living that celestial life where he can watch for us and draw near us unseen to comfort and help us in many of life's dark battles.

Th grief stricken parents have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is still;
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
God, in His wisdom, hath recalled,
The boon His love had given;
And tho' the body moulders here,
Th soul is safe in Heaven.
