CLARA REAMS SERVICES SET

Clara L. Reams, 72, of 503 Park St., died Sunday morning, May 1, at St. Francis Manor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with burial at Pleasant Township Cemetery near Ewart. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home beginning at 5 p.m. Monday.

The daughter of George and Nettie Morrison Beeler, she was born Oct. 15, 1910, in Washington Township. She graduated from Grinnell High School in 1928.

On June 3, 1933, she was married to Ralph Reams in Cedar Rapids. The family farmed near Malcom and later west of Ewart, moving to Grinnell in 1957 where Mrs. Reams worked in the Dietary Department of Grinnell General Hospital and in the kitchen of Bailey Park School.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Ewart and was active in the Ladies' Circle of the church.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Reams of Grinnell; three sons, Ronald Reams of rural Montezuma, William Reams of Vinton and Larry Reams of Montezuma; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Gregory of North Vernon, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
