MRS. A.D. TALBOTT DIES AT 80; MEMORIAL RITES TO BE TONIGHT

Mrs. A.D. Talbott, 80, died unexpectedly of a heart attack Saturday evening in her home at 1305 Broad street. She had been in good health.

Memorial services will be held this (Monday) evening at 7:30 at Smith funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Leland Mann of the Congregational church. Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery.

The family requests that any memorial be sent to the Iowa Heart Association, Des Moines.

Born July 17, 1873, at Smith Falls, Ontario, Canada, Mrs. Talbott was the daughter of Isabella Brownlie and John A. Flock. When she was a child the family moved to the Brooklyn vicinity.

She was married to Arthur D. Talbott at the Madison church in 1898. Mr. Talbott, a druggist and predecessor to the present Cunningham firm, died in 1929.

Mrs. Talbott attended Grinnell college and was awarded a certificate of music in 1897. She was a member of the Congregational church.

Four sons survive. *They are Arthur Stanley of Pasadena, Calif., Dr. John Talbott of Buffalo, N.Y., Robert F. Talbott of Carmel Valley, Calif., and Arthur D. Talbott Jr. of Tiburon, Calif. There are six grandchildren.
