SUSAN AGNEW BRIDGE

Mrs. Susan Agnew Bridge, wife of Mr. Thomas Bridge, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Agnew, was born in Northumberland county, Canada, October 3, 1876, and departed this life July 9, 1909, aged thirty-two years, nine months and six days.

From early childhood she was a lovely character. Loving, gentle and forgiving in her disposition she was a dutiful and obedient daughter, a devoted wife and a kind and loving mother.

At the age of twenty-one she was united in marriage to Mr. Thomas Bridge. To this union was born one son, Russell. To mourn her loss she leaves a husband and son, a father and mother, five brothers and two sisters, besides a great number of loving friends in Canada, Michigan and Iowa. Those who knew her best loved her most.

The last illness was very brief. The remains were brought from Canada to the parental home near Ewart. On Tuesday, July 13, at ten o'clock a.m., brief services were held at the home. The regular service was held at the United Presbyterian church in Ewart at eleven o'clock and interment made in Clover Hill cemetery.
