MRS. LINNENBRINK SERVICES HELD

Dorothy M. Linnenbrink, 88, of Fort Madison died of Alzheimer's disease Wednesday, Feb. 11, in Fort Madison.

The funeral mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fort Madison. The rosary and scripture service was conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday at King-Lynk Funeral Home in Fort Madison. Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery there.

Memorials may be made to the 2000 Foundation of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grinnell.

The daughter of Julius and Catherine Wiesing Riechelt, she was born March 9, 1898, at Fort Madison. She was married to Harry H. Linnenbrink on Oct. 9, 1918, in Fort Madison. The couple lived on a dairy farm near Fort Madison for 60 years.

Mrs. Linnenbrink was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Mary's Catholic church in Fort Madison.

She is survived by her children, William Linnenbrink of rural Fort Madison, Albert of West Point, Iowa, the Rev. Harry Linnenbrink of Grinnell, Generose Hoenig of Fort Madison and Joan Work of Mediapolis; 19 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979; one daughter, Mary Holtkamp; and five brothers, Louis, Robert, Joseph, Willie and Albert Riechelt.
