FORMER MAYOR OF SEARSBORO DIES

Searsboro, Ia., March 10. Special:

Friends were shocked to hear this morning that Andrew Evans had died Sunday evening at his home in New Sharon. Andrew was a brother of Charles and Clara Evans of this place and spent the greater part of his life in Searsboro. He at one time conducted a furniture store here. He was also city mayor for a term or two. Upon moving to New Sharon he was in the insurance business. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Christian church.
