OBITUARY

HAROLD HULL

Harold Lofland Hull, son of J.D. and Marjorie May Hull, was born September 16, 1892, near Taintor, Iowa. He grew to manhood and attended the local schools in the vicinity of his birth.

Mr. Hull spent his entire life on the farm, taking great pleasure in planting and harvesting all his life. He loved his home and family. He loved to see things grow, and he loved his country. For the past 22 years he has lived on the farm southeast of Grinnell.

On February 28, 1917, he was united in marriage to Marie Adele Palmer at Grinnell. Mr. and Mrs. Hull are the parents of two children, Melba and Donald.

He was preceded in death by his mother, his daughter, Melba Irene Mitchell, one brother, one sister, and a grandson.

Harold Hull is survived by his companion at the home, Marie Adele Hull, one son, Donald and his wife Darlene; three grandchildren, Dennis, Darryl, and Donna Beth; four sisters, Mrs. Earl (Susa) Northcutt of Taintor, Mrs. Dale (Freda) Taylor, Oskaloosa, Mrs. Ollie (Velva) McDowell, Searsboro, and Mrs. Austin (Lola) Meredith, Rock Island, Ill.; two brothers, Arthold of Oskaloosa, and Landon of Searsboro; his father, J.D. Hull of Lynnville, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

He enjoyed good health until a recent illness caused him to enter a local hospital. He passed away October 31, 1956, past 64 years of age.
