WEAVER DIES ON JAN. 23

Ruth Brownell Weaver, 78, died Jan. 23 at the Providence Hospital in Everett, Wash. She was a former Grinnell resident.

Funeral services for Ruth B. Weaver were held in Bellingham, Wash.

She was born in Grinnell in 1900, and lived here until 1930, when she moved to California. She graduated from Grinnell High School and attended Grinnell College.

On Nov. 8, 1933, she married Lloyd Weaver in Pasadena, Calif. The couple moved to Skagit County, Wash. She was a member of the Blanchard Allen United Methodist Church.

Surviving her are her husband Lloyd; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Carolyn) Clifton of Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Steve (Annette) Roy of Walla Walla, Wash., and Mrs. Lynn (Jean) Dayton of Bellingham; and five grandchildren.
