LAST SERVICES ARE HELD FOR MRS. S.S. ORMISTON

BROOKLYN, Special: Funeral services were held for Mrs. S.S. Ormiston at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon. Rev. Fred Miller had charge of the services. Pallbearers were Forrest Read, Otis Wood, Allen Graham, Harvey Spading, Harry Busch and Edgar Buchenau.

Mary Katherine Torrance, oldest daughter of Thomas and Mary Torrance, was born at Rockport, Pa., Nov. 9, 1856. When she was 21 years old she moved to Hartwick with her parents. In 1881 she was united in marriage to Samuel S. Ormiston, who preceded her in death a little over a year ago.

She is survived by four children, William F., Mrs. Mabel Carpenter and Mrs. Mary Tinker, all of Brooklyn, and Mrs. Sue O'Brien of Brooklyn, N.Y. Three brothers also survive, William and Thomas Torrance of Brooklyn, and Walter Torrance of Grinnell.
