DEATH CALLS MRS. LEROY MITHELMAN AT EARLY AGE

Mrs. Leroy Mithelman, only daughter of Ernest B. Jones and his wife Gittalie nee Larson was born on January 2, 1916 at Grinnell, Iowa. She spent her life in and near Grinnell. On October 23, 1937 she was united in marriage to Leroy Mithelman to which union one daughter was born, Janet Louise.

At the early age of 16 years her mother passed away, thus the responsibility of making a home for her father and four brothers fell upon her young shoulders. This task she performed cheerfully and faithfully. After a brief illness of a few days Mrs. Mithelman was called from this life last Saturday morning at eight o'clock, Feb. 3rd, at a local hospital, having reached the age of 24 years, 1 month, and 1 day. Her mother preceded her in death August 11, 1932.

She leaves to mourn her death, her devoted husband, her infant daughter, Janet Louise, her father, Ernest Jones, and four brothers, Alfred, Max, Kenneth, and Junior Jones, her grandmother, Mrs. Ben Jones, all of Grinneell, also a great number of relatives and friends.

The many duties that Mrs. Mithelman had to meet in life in the interest of her family and friends were never too great for her to bear. And since it hath pleased Almighty God to bring her young life to an early close, we commend her soul into His wise and providential care. And now may she rest in peace.
