LORENE FUSCO SERVICES HELD

Lorene G. Fusco, a former resident of Grinnell and graduate of Grinnell High School, died Saturday, April 18, in Broomfield, Colo.

Funeral services for Lorene Fusco were held Tuesday, April 21, in Calvary Community Baptist Church of Northglenn, Colo. Interment was at Arvada Cemetery there.

Born near Flagler, Colo., on July 26, 1924, she was raised in Grinnell. After graduating here, she attended the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago for two years. She met her husband, William, there, and the couple were married in Wheaton, Ill., April 27, 1946.

She served with her husband in church ministries for 35 years, including 25 years of missionary service, both in Italy and on the west coast of the U.S.

The couple moved to Broomfield in November of 1979, when he assumed the presidency of Denver Baptist Bible College and Seminary.

Surviving her are her husband; four children, David and Daniel of the Denver area, Judith, a missionary with her husband in Italy, and Ruth, in San Jose, Calif.; four sisters, Avis Badger and Wanda Bryner of Sandusky, Ohio, Naomi Butcher of Grinnell and Julie Spencer of San Jose, Calif.; and one brother, Harley Badger of Gilroy.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lorene Fusco Memorial fund at the Denver Baptist Bible College and Seminary at 1200 Miramont, Broomfield, Colo.
