CLARA I. FISER, 88

Funeral services for Clara I. Fiser, 88, of Brooklyn, formerly of Marengo, were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. She died Tuesday morning, July 12, 2005, at Brooklyn Community Estate, Brooklyn, following an extended illness.

The Rev. Dianne Buswell officiated at the service. Burial was in the Marengo Cemetery. Casket bearers were Jason Lillie, Adam Lillie, Brian Fry and Donald Larimer.

A memorial fund has been established.

Clara Isabelle Fiser was born on Dec. 17, 1916, in Ozark, Ark., the daughter of Charles Alfred Sr. and Beulah Belle Reynolds Fowler. She attended school in Marengo.

She married William Fiser on Feb. 8, 1937, at the Presbyterian manse. She was a homemaker.

Fiser is survived by her husband; three sisters, Opal Roller, Marengo, and Dorothy Hohnstein and Anna McIlrath, both of Laguna Woods, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Clyde and Charles Fowler Jr.
