JOHN BALTISBERGER DIES SUDDENLY

John Baltisberger, prominent citizen of Guernsey was found dead in his billiard parlor, Tuesday morning at about 9 o'clock by friends. Mr. Baltisberger had not been in the best of health and his friends the night before requested that they be permitted to remain with him throughout the night. This he refused and after the men left for their respective homes, he locked the doors.

On coming to the hall the following morning, entrance could not be gained through the front doors, so some friends entered by the way of the basement and found Mr. Baltisberger on the floor. It is not known how long he had been dead.

Funeral services were conducted from the Lutheran church, north of Malcom, Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock.
