LIFELESS BODY IS FOUND IN FIELD

The lifeless body of Lawrence Chamberlain was found this morning about 9 o'clock lying in the center of a field a block west of the home of his mother, Mrs. Sarah Chamberlain at 1425 Reed street. The discovery was made by Merle Sparks while he was delivering meat. The body was frozen, indicating that it had lain out all night.

When found the body was lying face down apparently in the position where it had fallen. Apparently Chamberlain had been the victim of a fainting fit. There was no sign of a struggle and there were no footprints on the snow, showing that he had been alone.

Members of the family said that Mr. Chamberlain had not been feeling well during the evening and had been acting strangely. Late in the evening he went out the back door and did not return.

Mr. Chamberlain was 33 years of age and made his home with his mother. He had not been in good health for a long time.

Funeral arrangements had not been made at time of going to press.
