RILLA SHEEHY BLACK

Rilla Sheehy was born April 10th, 1869, in Mahaska county, Iowa. On March 7, 1894, she was married to M.E. Black. During the winter of 1893 she gave her heart to God and became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of which she was a consistent and faithful member to the day of her death. She died of heart failure at her home in Ottawa, Kansas, July 31, 1909. Interment was in *Hazelwood cemetery on Tuesday, July 6.

Mrs. Black was a woman of sterling character and an earnest and devout christian. She was loved best by those who had known her longest.
