W.C. FENDERSON DIES SUDDENLY

W.C. Fenderson, well known carpenter and painter in Grinnell for the last thirty-nine years, passed away at his home at 1025 Spring street Wednesday morning at 8:15 o'clock. He had been working in his shop at the time and suffered a stroke. Wesley C. Fenderson was born Jan. 10, 1865, near Peoria, Ia. He came to Grinnell in March, 1892, and during all this time has followed the occupation of carpenter. W.C. Fenderson and Ellen A. Black were united in marriage Dec. 24, 1891. Surviving are his wife, one brother and three sisters.

Funeral services are being held this afternoon at 2:30 from the Snyder chapel with Rev. A.B. Cadwell in charge. Burial will be in Hazelwood. The pall bearers will be George Williams, Roy Cole, Bert Woomer, Arch Keister, Theodore Risse and Jap Richeson. "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Abide With Me" will be sung by Mrs. Roscoe Dempster and Mrs. A.B. Cadwell.
