CARL VERBECK DIES IN FLORIDA

Mrs. Luther Verbeck received word Monday morning of the death Sunday morning of her father-in-law, Carl H. Verbeck, at his home in Florida. Our readers will remember that Luther Verbeck was called a short time ago to his father's home on account of the latter's illness.

Mr. Verbeck was 91 years old last December and was a veteran of the Civil war, having served four years. He enlisted with the Eighth Illinois Cavalry.

The body was expected here Thursday morning. The funeral will be Friday morning at ten o'clock from the Luther Verbeck home, conducted by Rev. E.M. Vittum.
