FUNERAL SERVICES THIS AFTERNOON FOR MRS. MILLIE MAE GRUBB

Mrs. Millie Mae Grubb, widow of John Grubb, of 632 High street, passed away in a local hospital Monday evening aged 63 years. She had been an invalid for the past few years.

Mrs. Grubb was born in Grinnell March 19, 1890, the daughter of Judd and Emma Curtis LaGrange. She was married in Grinnell July 17, 1907 to John William Grubb, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Erwin Iosbaker of Severna Park, Md., Mrs. Betty Mayne of Searsboro and Mrs. Howard Jones of Grinnell and one son Douglas Grubb of Grinnell; also three sisters, Mrs. Lester Anderson of Des Moines, and Mrs. Russell King and Mrs. Frank Lacy, both of Grinnell and one brother, Floyd LaGrange of Grinnell.

Mrs. Grubb had lived all her life in Grinnell. She was a member of the First Baptist church.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Smith funeral home in charge of Rev. Wm. Welsh. Organ selections were rendered by E.H. Bohstedt. Pall bearers were Joe L. Brown, Donald Crawford, William Lacy, Frank LaGrange, Frank Saunders and John Sadler. Interment was in Hazelwood cemetery.
