MR. AND MRS. LEVI KIMBALL, ONCE RESIDENTS HERE, ARE DEAD

A letter to The Herald from F.M. Kimball, a former Grinnell boy, who is now a banker a Hartington, Neb., reads as follows:

Some of your old residents might be interested to note the passing away of my father and mother, Levi and Abigail H. Kimball.

He died at Grand Island, Nebr., Sept. 9th this year, while there attending a meeting of the Board of Trustees of Grand Island College. Cause of death, apoplexy. Aged 77 years.

Mrs. Kimball had an attack of grippe recently and failed quickly, dying Dec. 16, 1913, as many of her friends say, from lonesomeness. Age 72 years. Mr. and Mrs. Kimball were married at McGregor, Ia., Oct. 25, 1866.

Their son, Thomas E., died March 18, 1905. The other children survive: Fred M. Kimball, banker at Hartington, Nebr., Herbert L. Kimball, lawyer at Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Mabel A. Mudge of Wilmington, Del. Mr. and Mrs. Kimball were members of the Baptist church.
