CONDUCT FUNERAL RITES TODAY FOR MRS. ETHEL REVELL

Mrs. Ethel Mae Revell, 60, wife of Robert Revell, Sr., Grinnell, died suddenly at a local hospital Thursday evening. She had not been in the best of health for the last two weeks.

Funeral services were held this afternoon (Monday) from the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. E.E. Beattie officiating. Flowerbearers were Mrs. Glen Bell, Jr., and Mrs. Myles Olson and organ music was provided by Mrs. Eugene Holley.

Serving as pallbearers were George Beam, Dick Hulbert, Virgil Innis, Don McCartney, Roy R. Pugh, and Dean Revell. Interment was in Hazelwood cemetery.

One of a family of five children of T. Marion and Jennie See Hulbert, she was born Mar. 26th, 1901, in Grinnell. She received her education in the Grinnell public schools and on Sept. 16th, 1918, was united in marriage with Robert Revell at Glenwood, Minn.

To this union were born four children: Mrs. Warren (Velma) James of Montezuma, Mrs. Raymond (Ada) Johnson of Montezuma Mrs. Virgil (Ethel) Wright of near Searsboro, and Robert Revell, Jr., of Grinnell.

In addition to her husband and four children, Mrs. Revell is survived by 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Hill of Grinnell and Mrs. Velma Orton of Minneapolis, Minn.; and one brother, Floyd Hulbert of Glenwood, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter and one sister in infancy.

Mrs. Revell and her family had lived in Maxwell before moving to Grinnell in 1927. More recently, she had attended the United Presbyterian church.
