WALTER WITTRUP SERVICES TODAY

Walter Wittrup, 66, a former Grinnell area farmer, passed away Tuesday in Ely, Minn.

Mr. Wittrup and his wife, the former Alice Rivers of Searsboro, moved to the Ely community ten years ago. Prior to that time, Mr. Wittrup farmed for many years in this area.

He is survived by his wife; six children--Laura and Dean Wittrup, who continue to live in the family home; Mrs. Gould Potter of Minong, Wis.; Carl Wittrup of Grinnell; Mrs. Myrl Stephenson of Grinnell; and Ronald Wittrup of Ely; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) in Ely.
