FERN A. FRIZZELL, 93

Fern A. Frizzell, age 93, of Mason City, formerly of Brooklyn, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at IOOF Home in Mason City following a lengthy illness.

Graveside memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 5, at Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. John Reynolds, Jr. officiating. Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, is in charge of arrangements.

Fern is survived by several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a twin sister, Fawn, in infancy.

Fern Arline Frizzell was born Dec. 22, 1916, in Grinnell, the daughter of Wayne and Zoa Ilma Nisewander Frizzell. She married Ross Doty. The couple later divorced. They had no children. She was a past member of the Church of the Brethren in Brooklyn. She enjoyed riding her three-wheel bicycle around town.
