BILL GILBREAITH

Graveside services for Bill Lewis Gilbreaith, of Robins, were held Tuesday afternoon, September 13, at the Jackson Township Cemetery here following morning rites at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion. The Rev. Edward Bateman, of the Faith Bible Church of Robins, officiated.

Honorary casket bearers were John Kratz, Gordon Krambeer, Roger Stark, Maurice Crist, Tom Reddmond and Marlyn Cruse. Music at the funeral home was provided by soloist Mrs. Darrel Shaver accompanied by Mrs. Kenneth Hartung, organist.

Mr. Gilbreaith, 36, died Saturday, September 10, at a Cedar Rapids hospital.

The son of Edward and Vema Watts Gilbreaith, he was born March 19, 1941, at Montezuma. He graduated from Montezuma High School in 1959. On June 24, 1962, he was married to Jo Anne Jordan at Montezuma. For the past 13 years they have lived in the Hiawatha and Robins area where he was employed as a millwright. He was a member of Eagles Lodge of Cedar Rapids and Carpenter's Local No. 308 of the AFL-CIO.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Margaret Anne Gilbreaith of Sloan; a brother, Randy Gilbreaith of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Rita Gilbreaith of Sloan.
