CHRISTIANSON SERVICES SET

A. Viola Christianson, 83, of 1315 Elm St., Grinnell, died of a heart ailment Friday, March 28, at Friendship Manor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Epperson of the Grinnell Christian Church officiating. Organist will be Kathleen Heffner. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.

The daughter of Ole and Lena Enerson Christianson, she was born on Oct. 25, 1902, near Grinnell. She was a homemaker and seamstress. Miss Christianson worked at Virginia's in Grinnell and at the Danish Maid Bakery.

There are no immediate survivors. She was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters, Mabel Stemstrud, Lillie Alertson, Blanche Osborn, Agnetta Iverson, Bessie Thorson and Irene Mackin; and one brother, Lawrence Christianson.
