LAST RITES SATURDAY FOR HARRY A. BUSCH

Funeral services for Harry Busch, 64-year-old resident of the Brooklyn vicinity all of his life, were conducted Saturday afternoon at First United Presbyterian church in charge of the Rev. G.H. Hulsebus. Organist was Mrs. Ed Bartachek.

Interment was in I.O.O.F. cemetery with Ernest Andes, Edward Hall, Harry Otto, Graeme Kenyon, Charles Jones and Edgar Buchenau serving as pallbearers. In charge of flowers were Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Calderwood and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Montegomery.

Harry Almon Busch, son of Ernest August and Velma Daisy White Busch, was born in Madison township July 30, 1897, and died at University hospitals in Iowa City Jan. 26, 1962, following an illness of nearly a month.

At an early age he was baptized at the Madison Church of Christ. He later transferred his membership to the First United Presbyterian church at Brooklyn.

On Sept. 9, 1937, he was married to Irene Grace Severe at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. Three children were born to the couple, Larry, Darwin and Caroline.

Survivors include his wife, Irene; one son, Darwin of Brooklyn; one daughter, Caroline of Cedar Rapids; one brother, Alvin E. Busch of Hartwick and three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Clara) Gray of Malcom, Mrs. William (Ada) Schnell of Dysart and Mrs. Elver (Velma) Roudabush of Brooklyn.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Larry, and his parents.
