MRS. ERNEST A. BUSCH DIES IN MADISON TWP.

Velma Daisy White, daughter of Thomas and Caroline White, was born in Belmont county, Ohio, Dec. 26, 1875.

When a small child her parents moved to Poweshiek county, Iowa, settling on a farm in Madison township. While a young girl she united with the Madison Methodist church under the pastorate of the Rev. Mr. Lambert.

On Mar. 4, 1896, she was united in marriage to Ernest August Busch. They moved immmediately to the Busch farm where she resided continuously until the end came.

This union was blessed with five children, Mrs. Harold Gray and Mrs. Wayne Andes, both of whom live in Madison township; Harry, Alvin and Velma, who are at home.

She departed peacefully from this life early Thursday morning, June 23, 1932, at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 27 days. She is survived by her husband, the five children and little Marlon Gray, her only grandchild; also by four sisters, Miss Viola White, Mrs. Ida Bigelow and Mrs. Laura C. Long of Brooklyn, Mrs. T.J. Daniels of Cedar Rapids, and one brother, Almon A. White also of Brooklyn.

Her deepest thoughts were of her home and family. She was a loving wife and mother and a thoughtful neighbor and friend.

The funeral services were held at the M.E. church in Brooklyn Saturday at 2:30, and the body laid at rest in the Brooklyn cemetery. Rev. W.B. Wilson of Newburg and Rev. Mr. McBride of Victor conducted the services.
